DESCRIPTION:The ACE Inspection and Testing of Water-Based Systems certification program is for technicians working in the inspection and testing of existing water-based fire protection systems.   Eligibility for ACE Certification is based on different factors depending on which certification level is sought. Please note both continuing education and work experience requirements must be met to be eligible to sit for an exam. See all exam PREREQUISITES. \nExams Being Offered:\nInspector Level I – $400\nInspector Level II Next Step – $300 (For those candidates who already have an ACE or NICET Level I)\nInspector Level II Direct – $600 (For those candidates who do not have a Level I and want to test directly to Level II)\nInspector Level III – $350 (For those candidates who already have an ACE or NICET Level II) \n  \nLate Registration Begins: 8/8/2026 (Late Fees Apply)\nRegistration Closes : 8/11/2026 \n \n  \nWhat you Need to Know for this Exam: \nRegistrants are REQUIRED to be checked in AND in the testing room by 7:45 am (unless otherwise posted). Please arrive early to allow time to check in before the exam starts. If participants are not in the room AND checked in by the required time\, they may be required to test at a later date.
